****** size and anorexia . . .

I’m 15 years old and I was diagnosed with anorexia. I only lost about 15 pounds but my breast shrank from a B cup to an A cup. Will my breasts grow any larger? Is there anything I can do to increase the size of my breast? What’s the best thing to do?

“The 15-pound weight loss, causing your cup size to go from a B to an A, means a decrease in the fatty tissue of your breast. This should reverse itself with weight gain.”

“We generally do find that breasts are particularly in the formative period, very sensitive to variations in weight. We have a number of patients who have been slightly underweight and who have regained breast volume when they have achieved a more normal weight.”
